It shouldn't take longer then a month. Unless there was damage to the property, then he has the right to keep it.

Depends on your State. Check your State's laws. I'm a landlord in Mississippi. Last time I read the law, we had up to 45 days to issue and include an itemized listing of all repairs/costs that had to be made if any.

i think standard procedure is within thirty days you get whatevers left of the deposit minus any repairs or cleaning needed. if it's been longer than 30 days you may want to call them and see whats up. either way you should get money or a bill
