So you know what I'm doing I'll tell you my history with the xbox 360.
First, on 1/2/06 I bought a core system at Wal-Mart for $299. It worked great until about March. It started to give red lights and I couldn't seem to get it to work without freezing. I sent it out to the repair center and got it fixed. Once back it worked great until about January of this year. I tried everything and it wouldn't even start up to the dashboard screen. I called up and I sent it back. 23 days later they sent me a refurbished console, since my old one was unfixable. I started playing with it and it started freezing every 5 minutes. I sent it back on February 15th and I'm still waiting. If I get a new one back, should I immediately sell it and use that money to buy a premium Xbox 360 for $399?
I need to know what you guys think about it working.

My mom just bought my sister and me a 60GB ps3 so even though I'll be using my own money, I don't know what they'll say. I love the xbox 360. It's full of so much potential. I signed a petition to get it recalled. So I basically wanted to know if they core systems have the majority of issues and its the premiums that work fine

I don't think I'm prepared to drop another $600 even if it is true.
