A girl of 18+ is competent for marriage with a boy of 21+, unless she is of unsound mind or in another's wedlock. A petition for judicial separation, annulment or divorce can be filed before the District Court after one year of marriage, alleging the valid grounds enumerated in Sections 9-13 HMA.
Despite any enactment/legislation of Legislative Assembly or Parliament providing a chance to obtain divorce from secular courts, a Hindus marriage is never broken: The wife always remains his Ardhangini (half body) and husband Pati Parmeshwar (Lord). How can you say that your wife is incompetent? In which respect? Try to recognise whether your thought is having any strong ground. Try to love her. Probably you went through a very hardship. Please come to the soft world. You can give divorce to her. But it is not the end of the life. In future again you will go for marriage and the same problem will reappear. I think you don't know how to love and to be loved.

Well, go to to the court, and apply for a divorce. BUT beware, if your wife if from orthodox and traditional systems of thought, then it is a whole different ball game. Keep in mind that Indian marriages tend to marry whole families, not just individuals. So how is the familly going to take it? And also keep in mind its quite tough for a divorced lady in India to lead a "normal" life

If it was in India dont they have a way they can get a divorce that is different then in America--stomp there foot three times or some other ritual. Men have all the power there. It is the women who have the hard time getting rid of the arrogant mysogonist men.
