theres something wrong with my hamsters nose i dont know what happened to him but it doesnt look good. i dont kno if he split it or what but it looks purple kind like its brused but in the pic it looks real red.

after looking at the pix. i would say that he either bumped/smashed his noes on something in the cage.. and or he has allergies cuz animals can get them too. soo i would take ur hamster to the vet! =] and see what they suggest

Shame! i think he has been up to mischief and knocked his nose against something. Although he looks content in the photo it really would be best to get the vet to have a look. If your hammie is eating and drinking normal then there is no need to worry to much. but get him to the vets asap incase he is in any pain or discomfort

He probably smashed his nose into something, or could have allergies and hurt himself because of an itchy nose. Take him to the vet, as scratches can become infected and to make sure that nothing is seriously wrong that can be treated.

Well take it to the Doctor right away so if its a infection it wont continue in the pic it doesn't sent look split it looks like bruise.

aww poor little guy! I say take out anything you think might have caused his. consult a small mammal vet as soon as possible (just look it up in a phone book or here on the internet)

looks like he's been rubbing it on somthing in his cage just keep an eye on him and it if gets worse take him to a vet

he may have just nocked his nose, hopefully it will heal, but i would take it to the vets for a check-up incase it is serious
