i know i do. there are lot s of things in my life coming to end. i get depressed, well mainly of my personal problems. i'm still in school, and i have friends, all having different personlaties, but its difficult knowing they talk behind my back or break promises every week. i know i shouldn't look forward to things in my life because later on.....someone or something makes it go wrong, or its canceled. many things in my life make me feel depressed speacially around spring. not exactly sure why, but i don't like spring it makes me realize what i've been through and what people make me put up with.

Yes I do ,my father did my brother does and so does one of my sister. For some reason I find the lengthening of the day can be very depressing. I just can't put it down to anyone thing, but as the days get longer and warmer I find myself getting better. About five years ago I had severe depression it almost lead to suicide only I got medical help. I find it coming on at the moment so I just try to put it out of mind and wait for longer and warmer days. My dad was a farmer and as soon as the stock got out to the spring grass you could see the change in his mood over night.

No, I don't, because to me, early Spring is the season of *hope*. It's when I daydream about the "real" Spring and the Summer and all the things I would like to do. And if I see the daffodils starting to come up (like I did two days ago), then it even gives me more hope of good, pretty things to look forward to.

Early spring is my LEAST favorite time of the year. It is still cold and miserable most of the time, it rains a lot so there are lots of clouds and the sun rarely shines, the snow that is left is dirty and it is muddy and chilly...yuck! Everything just looks old and dirty. About mid-spring i start to perk up because it is getting warmer and drier and sunnier and the flowers are out and i can start doing things outside like mowing and planting.

Nope, Spring is the start for a new year , rebirth of hope, and a belief that things will change for the better like the weather.

People who are affected by SAD often say it is now that they start feeling human again. The lengthing days , warmer weather and sunshine make them feel happy again.

Could be seasonal affective disorder but it usually starts earlier in the year than that, all though it can start in spring too. Try getting outside more, get some exposure to the Sun, that may help.

nope, because spring is supposed to liven you up. The sun is out, the weather is good. The majority of people get depressed during the winter season..that's why we have the term "winter blues".
