favorites are on XP and I want to transfer to a notebook with Vista

In IE, click the folders tab and choose Export... and save to the desktop.

Then, Email or burn the file to CD or a USB key and copy it over to Vista.

It saves your Favorites as an html file. You can save it and use a floppy, flash drive, or other media to transfer it to another computer or e-mail it to yourself.

lower than your bookmarks tab , there should be a deal with bookmarks selection. then you definately should be in a position to backup the e book marks, then replica this report on your new pc and then import them interior a similar way. wish this help
