If you have a self cleaning oven, run it through a cycle, this will take about 5-6 hours to heat up then cool down. Once it has cooled wipe up the residue with a damp cloth. If not self-cleaning,spray the spill with water to soften then use a commercially available oven cleaner to clean. Read and follow directions carefully for use. Cleaning an oven is a pain. Good luck

You can try Easy Off Oven Cleaner. If you want something less chemically strong, I just use a water/Dawn dishsoap mixture to wipe the oven out. I let it sit, wet for about 20 minutes. Then I use a wet sponge and Baking Soda to scrub it. Rinse and dry.

every one talks of easy-off but the cheap brand for a dollar along with a scouring pad works just as well. my mom has a cleaning business and uses it with much success and has for over twenty years.
