I have a message that outlook tries to keep sending. The message is not in my outbox and I cant find the message that it is trying to send. It comes up with an error message saying that my email address needs to be verified. I have gone to Yahoo and tried to do this but the email address was already verified. I have tried unistalling/install but the message is still there. If someone out there could give me any ideas I would really appreciate them as this is really bugging me now. Recieiving messages is fine its just sending. If I sens any other emails they go fine. Its just this one that wont go.

Outlook sucks, it doesn't work for Yahoo email. I can't figure out how to get rid of it either. Sometimes Outlook automatically pops up to send email, isn't it annoying?

Your best bet would be to delete the account from outlook and set it up again then follow the link below to make sure you have it set up correctly the next time..

You also CAN receive and send email messages in outlook and most other email programs using yahoo email. The process to set it up is available here too. I myself use outlook express for my yahoo all the time using the steps below.

Maybe it has to set up a specific POP/SMTP server..

I think it's Tools > Options > Servers or something like that, and you have to type in what yahoo deems to be the proper POP/SMTP servers. SMTP = Sending, POP = Receiving.

E-mail address
If your email address ends in a ".com", like: MemberID@yahoo.com

Incoming mail server (POP3) = pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP) = smtp.mail.yahoo.com

I've normally found the SMTP server setup to be the culprit when I was setting up my email addresses from gmail, hotmail and my own website in Outlook to come into one box.

I don't really use Yahoo mail, but try these sites for info:
