Kent is old and a health question
Roberts is pretty good, but I'm looking for the next Utley? Is he out there?
Kinsler? Barfield? Lopez? Who do you like best

sdwillie-Huh? Roberts had an off year last year. You should pull up some stats of your own. I won 4 leagues last year and I've been playing for 9 years. I can tell you that looking at last years stats is only PARTof the research process. I was simply trying to elicit opinions from EDUCATED fantasy baseball players.

Utley is a fantastic talent I don't think you'll find the "next one" in this class unless it is an unknown. I can tell you one thing, it will not be Uggla. A lot of people seem to be high on Kinsler, but I think the second best 2B would have to be Roberts, followed by Cano, you could also throw Rickie weeks in there and Chone figgins if he is eligible.

Since Roberts spent the 4 years before last year proving that he sucks he probably doesn't deserve to be included in that list. Since Cano benefits from being on Steinbrenner's fantasy team he probably doesn't either, and if you can point to 3 straight years where he's performed n the top third of the position I'll reconsider, but not until then. and 28 year old rooks probably also shouldn't be considered among the best at their position, even in fantasy. Since your using criteria that have nothing to do with a player's career pull up a stats page, limit it to 2B and last years numbers and do some sorting.

Kendrick, Kinsler, Barfield are the next 3.. after Roberts - i didn't count Figgy but you have count him in any position he plays.
A mild surprise we may be talking about next year is Chris Burke, a little power and speed. Hitting in front of Lee and Berkman can only help his production. Ryan Freel is always rated at the start of the season but always seems to find the bench in favor of someone else.
If Weeks can maintain his numbers from last year and play 162 games he could easily be at the top of the list. But he still needs to cut down on his strikeouts first...can't run it out if the catcher is holding it.
