After opening up an internet page,
Select "Tools" on your menu bar,
and select "Internet Options"
then type in the site u want it to open up to.
and click "Apply"
that should work.

Go to whatever site you'd like to keep as a Internet Explorer start page, then click Tools, Internet Options menu, ... under the General Tab, click, "USE CURRENT" button. This will make whatever site you choose your start page.

on the Tools menu select "Internet Options" and change what is listed in the box under home page.

This can also be done from the control panel and Internet options.
