Try the adventure.. Alaska.

Many folks holding J-1's come to Alaska to experience the wilderness of the Last Frontier. You could easily work in Denali, Anchorage, Fairbanks, or many of the coastal communities.

Depending on your work preference, you would have many options. Many employers have housing assistance with various meal plans.

What business are you in and where are you coming from? L.A. has a variety of people from other places so you maybe to find something there.
