Whenever Im out with friend or at their houses I always wanna drink. If I dont then Im just, like bored by everything. Im not a big drinker, it just seems like a social staple.

If it's in moderation, then you're fine, and also smart. If it's a problem, or if you want to avoid it completely (which is also perfectly fine and smart), then you'll have to find other things to do like a hobby or some other activity, martial arts, craft, outdoors, whatever.

I don't understand how you feel compelled to drink when you're not a big drinker anyway. Millions have fun without alcohol. I mean if you're at a party of course you would want to drink. But if you really don't want to drink, don't put yourself in those situations. Otherwise, who cares if you drink.

there are soo many ways to enjoy being with your friends without drinking. if there is alchohol there order a soda or unalchoholic beer. Go to the mall look at clothes or go to a funny movie! Take pictures of yourselves in a photobooth. You can do anything without drinking!

i dont drink, and didnt when i was a teenager and yet all my friends wanted to hang out with me because i was funny and fun to be around.you(and i )never knew what i would say or do.its been my experience that people who need to drink to enjoy themselves need it as a crutch.they dont feel comfortable being themselves in front of others so they need an excuse and alcohol is it.if they are loud or acting silly or want to be physical with someone or anything then they can always blame it on the alcohol.instead of just admitting that was what they really wanted to do in the first place.if i want to kiss someone i do.if i want to dance i do.if i want to say something i just do,i dont need alcohol to do anything.you need to be more secure with yourself youre worth it.

me and my friends don't drink alcohol but we still know how to have fun. normally what we do is see a late movie then go to an all night dinner and have lots of soda and we start laughing and having a good time..in the end you can't tell us apart from the "drunkies" but thats just us...hope that helps

I really can't understand how can you have fun after drinking! Tell me, isn't it better to be conscient and awake than drunk and asleep? When you're conscient, your brain is more active, and you have more fun, because you laugh more, you feel better. I don't know. Try to convince your friends to play Twister, or other funny game, before drinking. You'll see you'll have so much fun, you won't want to drink again...!

Just be yourself, drinking makes people act stupid and obnoxious. I myself chose my friends very carefully, if they drink and can't do without drinking they are not good people and think little of themselves.

If you are bored then you must learn to communicate with people and how to be more social.

Hey just the fact that you won't suffer from a hang over the next day would be fun.

I say you might be friends with the wrong people. I would recommend new friends with similar thoughts about alcohol.
