I'd have to say Nirvana. Cobain was a rock god. He invented a whole new genre of music -- grunge. Linkin Park just rode the pop-punk wave, Limp Bizkit overdid the rap-rock thing, and although Slipknot is creative, they don't come close to the genius possessed by Nirvana.

Nirvana because they changed the music scene from 80's hair bands to real rock and roll. Nirvana is classic and will go down in history. Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit are whine-rock jokes, and Slipknot is OK but I prefer the woman whom they gave a big break to... OTEP!

Limp Biskit are good for shock value with all the profanity and the word "f**k" appearing in almost every line of 'Hot Dog'!! I've listened to some Slipknot albums and they're okay if you are a Satanist I guess, but not that great. The other two I don't really know about. If I had to choose I'd go for Limp Bizkit. I don't really have a favourite band or group. I'll listen to almost anything.

Well lets see, Nirvana opened up the scene for thousands of bands and they rock. Linkin park, slipknot, and limp biskit are all biproducts of a retarded generation of overused cleches and... well to put it simply There's the ground breaking and then there is the dirt. And like Anthrax said (Fred D. fans) "all you new jacks get off my @#$%". There was a song called I'm The Man wrote about 20 years ago.

but I'm gonna go with Nirvana because thy are absolute legends and no one will ever forget them. Kurt Cobain is a great singer, and Nirvana have written amazing songs
