My Fiance and I are going on vacation but we don't know where. That's where you guys come in, I need all the opinions I can get. We have $2,000.00 to spend. That's including everything: food, airline, hotel, drinks, etc... I've looked and we can go to Miami but we went there last year so we were looking for something new. The place has to inlcude a beach with beautiful surroundings, we would like blue water not gross green that we have here in Virginia..lol. Any suggestion will help. Please and Thank you.

There are lots of nice places in US to visit but how about some places in the Carribbean. Have you tried to look for all inclusive resorts in Dominican Republic? I went there a couple of times and I had a great time. I stayed at a resort in Punta Cana. Beautiful beaches, lots of sun, water sports and great food and drinks. You don't even have to go out of the resort. I don't know which company (ies) you use for travel. Here in the northeast I use gwv.com or tntvacations.com. Check the resorts there and you won't regret. Hve a good trip.

I second the vote for San Diego. It's the perfect place for a vacation with beautiful beaches, lots to do, and spectacular sunsets. Most of the beaches have firepits on the beach....one of my favorite romantic things to do is have a bonfire on the beach, roast marshmellows, and watch the fireworks blasting off from Sea World. Chicago-but you have to wait til summer for the beach. We are a beautiful, world class city with lots of things to see and do. Museums, professional sports, theatre that rivals Broadway, architecture, world class restaurants, a vibrant night life. Our city runs 24/7!!! You name it-we got it. Give it a try-you'll want to come back again and again!!!

Try Gulf Shores, Alabama. Although it's not the sleepy hamlet it was before Hurricane Frederick, it still has plenty to offer a traveler. And there's Fort Morgan if you want to see part of our nation's history.
