Wind is a renewable resource because it will always be there and we will never run out. You can put up a giant windmill and wind will always turn it around and create electricity. Wind may be slow at times, but it wall always pick up, so, yes, wind is a renewable resource

Wind is and will be a renewable resource as long as there are temperature differences on this planet.

These temperature differences (cold in the Arctic and warm in the Tropics) create pressure differences which drive the weather patterns that exist across the globe today. As the atmosphere is always striving for equilibrium, 'wind' will continue to move areas of higher pressure towards areas of lower pressure. As a result of this movement, wind will continue to be a driving force in weather and climate.

Yes, wind is definitely a renewable resource. It will always be around, and it has no danger of disappearing.

Wind is definitely a source of energy. However, Al Gore insists we're abusing the wind and might soon run out of it altogether. All the signs are there. Balloons falling to the ground. Kids in Georgia unable to fly kites, etc. If we're going to take advantage of the wind as a method to power our country, we'd better do it soon. The wind will stop blowing around 2015.

Al Gore will save us from the dying winds -- if you've seen any video of him lately you can see he's been personally storing tons of wind in his puffed up body, and one day he's going to blow.

Hi. It is considered renewable but actually nothing gets 'renewed'. It can be considered a sun driven power source.

mayBabyl is correct Al ( How did I get so smart) Gore invented the wind, mostly hot air contrbuting to his global warming thesis. We should start calling him Doctor Gore.

Yep- it's renewable & Al Gore is smoking something if he thinks it's gonna stop blowing in 8 yrs-- eventually it will stop, but I think we'll be long gone by then.
