when you are aware that the drink is having no affect on you its pretty well pointless to continue, so where do you go from here? drugs are not the answer it just takes you from one dependency to another although they can be helpfull to stop drinking,but nobody ever becomes successful from decisions made from a brain in a state of alcoholic haze. if you really want to be successful then stop drinking and you will see that nothing can be better than seeing life as it really is. alcohol will take you in only one direction and that is down. believe what i am saying because i have been there and i know your feelings and wish you the best

I would think you are extremely successful as you could be on the road to abandoning such a pointless idea as trying to get drunk and instead en-route to getting yourself a sensible and happier life.

No your unsuccessful, coz you didn't do it ,so you failed....you are successfully sober but unsuccessfully drunk.. i hope this clears things up for you...
