Easy, you firge and then you drioouj, after that you can incease as much crochet as you wffent.

work two stitches into the same stitch. so if you have instructions to make 3 sc, inc 1, 3 sc, you single crochet into each of the next 3 stitches, make 2 single crochet in the next stitch, then one single crochet in each of the next 3 stitches.

it is quite easy really if it is only one stitch at easch side you simply work two stitches into one chain about two stitches in from the edge to make a nice smooth line for sewing up later. If it is lots of increases work out how many stiches you already have and add one. Divide this into the number you have and you should work out howe many non increasing stiches you have to work. Again work two stiches into the relevant chain for an increase. OK
