I have two pairs of pretty shoes that I can't use because of the heels but I saw a pair just like mine that the heels were taken off of but they were too big. How do I take the heels off?

You could use a saw, but you couldn't wear the shoes after you took the heels off. Heels are made differently than flats, so I'm sorry, you're stuck with them as they are.

Maybe, depending on the existing height and the rusulting height after the heels are removed, or lowered, generally you can remove about 3/8" without altering the original design and function of the shoe. This is accomplished by grinding and then replacing the material that will strike the ground with something that will wear well! So, bring em' on down to the local shoe repair shop, advice is always free "unlike appliance repair" and they will let you know your options on a specific pair. 3/8" will make a significant difference in how the shoe will feel when being worn.

yeah, you can a saw to cut the heels off. But it is not worth of doing it as it will damage the shoes at the end as the design and shape have been made for the shoes.
