Fighting "them" in Iraq makes it MORE, not less likely that we will ultimately have more violence here at home as well as anywhere else in the world we might choose to go.

The thing that is amazing to me is the inability of war supporters to put themselves in the shoes of regular Iraqis. Every American should ask himself this simple question: how long would you tolerate the presence of uninvited and unwelcome foreign military forces in your town? A week? A month? How about four years?

I'd have started shooting at them as soon as one innocent neighbor became"collateral damage".

Makes me a terrorist, doesn't it?

There is no way anyone could invade here, we all own guns, there are military bases everywhere, it just isn't in the scope of reality. They may someday again bring it to our soil, but we will give it right back. The thing is maybe we can come to an agreement with them. Perhaps if we pull all our troops out of Muslim lands Muslims will not try to attack any non-Muslim lands. As long as that peace is maintained, great. There are perhaps some things we have done around the world that we should make amends for, to pacify the humans and start to change the opinion that others have about America. Then we offer business support and get the heck out of their lands, if they want to fight their let them, it is none of our business.
IF someone does attack us though after we have made an arrangement with them, we should take appropriate action. We can have peace and business, or we can have war and instability for all. We just have to decide which one we want.

So do people think the Iraqis will be blowing up car is Kansas city three weeks after the war?

I did not say that at all. USA is not weak at all. You don't think a democrat state in the middle east is a good thing? I think it would be nice to have somebody help keep an eye on Iran. If you want a whole bunch of 9-11's than let's pull out . That would show em what were made of . PUDDING

What do you mean? We are not "fighting" these people so they won't come over. It sounds like you are saying we need to beat them with sticks so they don't dare cross to our soil. We are trying to bring democracy, not necessarily fight them off. Our country isn't weak. It's the strongest out of all of them.
