My ex walked out on me and our 4 year old son 7 weeks ago for the 2nd time,we had been together 6 years and he was my first love,anyway i found out by accident that he is seeing someone else and i`ve a feeling he had started seeing her before he left.Before i found out he used to tell me that he wasn`t with anyone when all along he was,why would he lie??

I mean it`s not as if he`s moved to the other end of the city he stays about 5 miles away so he should have known someone would eventually bump into them,i`ve also met this girl just after we got back together the 1st time and i disliked her instantly,she works with him and he also said he didn`t find her attractive and that she was to loud and brash for him and looks like a heroin addict,all lies obviously,it`s driving me insane!

he lied to avoid confrontation, a cowards way out of it. he also may have lied to u so as not to burn the bridges just in case it didn't work out with her. he has no character, or integrity, yes he was seeing her way before the breakup, as men usually never leave home unless there is some other woman involved. he didn't tell u because he is a coward, and wanted to be out of the home before u found it out and confronted him about it. happened to me too, he lied, keeping my hopes up with me thinking he had just moved out to work out his problems, saying it was just some friend, it is painful when we find out we have been made a complete fool of. chances of it working out are slim, let him go and begin a new life. its better being alone than with a cheater who keeps leaving u.

He lied because he didn't think that you would find out. Now that you have you should realise that you are better off without him. Just make sure that he continues to look after his son, just because the two of you have broken up this doesn't mean that he should lose contact or stop looking after his child. If he is not paying you child support you should go to your local Citizen's Advice Bureau and seek advice about what to do

I guess he lied because he was too big a coward to be honest and tell you the truth! Waste no more time on the Rat and move on. Both you and your Son deserve better and I'm sure you will find true happiness real soon. All the best to you both.

He lied because he's not man enough to be honest. Instead of worrying over this loser, try to understand that you and your child are better off without him. Neither one of you need or deserve to live with a liar. Children learn what they live. I'm sure you don't want your child to grow up to be a liar like dad. he lied to you because he thought that you wouldn't find out. if he lied once he will again. if he cheated once he will again. i feel bad for the child. does he call to see if the baby needs anything? probably not. don't fret you can raise your son on your own women do it everyday. hold your head high nad love yourself and your son more than anything else. he need you to be strong .

He wanted the best of both worlds, he has not got the courage to face you and tell you it is over. I should image that we you get over the pain and hurt, you can do so much better for yourself and little boy.

i have been through pretty much the same scenario, except i confronted my ex about it, and it turned out that he was seeing someone else b4 we split and that he didnt want to tell me in fear of me finishing the relationship and making him look like a fool!!!! men and their stupid ego's

It's scary facing up to your demons. Telling you would have been one of the hardest things he'd ever had to do. Well, but you finding out and facing him was even harder, as he knows now.
