Last week when I saw my former bf of almost 8 years, he was upset that we broke up and he kept on comparing me to the new girl that he had cheated on me with. He said that I was fat, and that I can't cook etc. We had only just broken up in January and now he is engaged to her already, we didn't get married while we were together nor got engaged. What does it mean when he compares me to his new girl? Is he trying to hurt me even more? Or is he not over the break up yet?

OK...I got a question for you...Is it true? Are you fat? Is it true that you can't cook? If it is not...THE HELL WITH HIM. That is why he is an Ex. And Thank God you didn't marry that babbling idiot. Kiss the ground...and scream, "Thank you God for looking out for me". Now his new girl...I would feel for her but hey' eight years was too long. If it didn't happen then (Marriage) it wasn't meant to happen. He is no longer your headache. And it is going to take some time to get over him...eight yrs. is a long time. There was alot of emotional time spent so take this time and heal. Work on you ; ). Do things that you probably wanted to do, that knuckle head objected to then. If you wanted to finish your college degree or pick up another one...do it. Find something to do and keep busy. Don't sit around and think about him Because he is not thinking about you at all. When you do see him, keep going like you don't know him. If he can't say anything POSITIVE...SCREW HIM. Don't waste your valuable time with a loser. You will be fine...keep the your head up and keeping going. The sun will rise again another day. ; )

8 years not even engagement? Hang it up. He was probably dating that other woman and you at the same time. Plus there is never a good enough reason for name calling and insults. He never respected you to begin with. He was after whatever he got now he thinks he can move on. Let him, you deserve better. He was over you a long time ago.

Who care what does he mean.He doesn't deserve you OK.You don;t no how lucky you are.NOW you learn and move in to beautiful life.About FAT if HE was right MAN for YOU ,YOU WILL
NOT BE FAT@HE WOULD EASILY ENCOURAGE YOU to have interesting in cooking.My mom didn't know how to boil the egg before she got married my dad,By the way he doesn't cook

Why do you even talk to this guy. It looks like you're the one who isn't over him. He is deliberately trying to hurt you by making comparisons and insulting you. Just cut him out of your life and move on.

sounds like he's trying to justify what he did to you by belittling you. Ignore him and go on with your life. Sounds like you are better off with out him.

Who cares what HE means.....it clearly isn't meant to make you feel good....stop listening to him....really....he sounds cruel and very unstable.....plus he cheated....he will cheat on her too....don't waste your time or thoughts on such a loser.
