I have a dell.. there's a web site that's called ksolo.com where you can record yourself singing (check it out if you want) And well, I just can't get the microphone on my computer to work! I don't know what buttons to hit, where to go, what to do, ect. Even if you go into "sound recorder" it will record music and stuff, but not voice. Anyone know how to fix this? I appreciate your help VERY much.

ok, go to 'start button' then control panel, double click on sounds/audio click the advanced button which willbring up volume control, go to options, select properties, then select recording, click ok. make sure that the volume is turned up on the mic slider. if that doesnt work let me know :)
