You're not bad.There are some flaws,but they're things you can improve.About getting signed,you never know.It's more of a game of luck.If you ask me,the best thing to do is to have a job to fall back on,but go for your dream,and don't be afraid of taking risks.

Try out for American Idol or something. It's kinda like saying "I want money so I'm going to play the lottery", but it's worth a shot.
