I live only 5 minutes from the Grant house, I hear helicopters going over all day today. They found her torso in the garage of their house. Now her husband has disappeared & they feel as though he has gone away to kill himself. What a horrid mess. I feel so bad for the 2 little kids.

Her husband gave a full confession late Sunday night from his hospital bed, including how (strangulation), why (a major confrontation, but about what, the sheriff won't say), and where he did it (at home while the kids were asleep, and he "took care" of the body that same night at the family-owned tool and die shop). I hope that this means that he will plead guilty when arraigned and save Tara's children and family the grief of a trial that will indeed be a media circus. They have been thru enough. Stephen Grant will rot in prison for his crime, and after he dies, he will roast. Good riddance!

I grew up in a sub on 28 and Van Dyke and know the area well. I spent many a day at Stoney Creek swimming, bike riding, partying...I can't imagine what went on in that house and what the Macome Co. sherrifs have had to deal with in collecting those body parts. Just digusting and horrible. Tara Grant certainly did not deserve this atrocity! My prayers are with her family-and his family as well.

The interview with police officers seemed like they didn't want to give out a lot of information. Stephen Grant was captured far away from his car. He was transferred to a hopsital because he was out in the cold so long. It's said that he had frost bite and needed hospital care. Otherwise, everything else is unknown like what clothes he was wearing, where he was planning to go, and why. But, one things certain that he didn't want the law inforcement to find out that he killed his wife. He tried to cover it up as much as possible. He shouldn't have left his wife's torso in his garage if he didn't want them to find out. That was really the key. But, it's still not known how he killed her or how the body parts were seperated. I'm sure it will be an ongoing story.

I live in southeast Michigan, it's definitely unsettling to see something like this happen this close to home. Stephen Grant seemed very odd to me from the start, I can't say I'm surprised this was the outcome. But it is very, very sad. Especially for those poor children. I hope he burns for what he did. It's just terrible.

I have seen other question/answers about her on here and know that her family uses this so wanted to say, "God Bless" I can't imagine what they are going through right now but you are in my family's thoughts and prayers.
