Lunatic comes from a Latin word that means that lunacy was associated with the phases of the moon.
I was a nurse & often found patients wolud go ''loony'' on full moons.
I once found an elderly lady under her bed with a bed pan on her head shouting that we were being bombed.
I am now a ploice officer & know that I have dealt with more fights & genral aggro when the moon was full.
Should be a busy night as there is a lunar eclipse tonight.

Strange you should mention that, every time there's a full moon, my body goe's all furry and I grow claws and fangs, also I go out and eat people, but tonight there's an eclipse of the moon, heed my advice stay indoors and be safe, AAARRRGGGHHHH

I'm always funny! There have been times where evrything seems a bit crazy at work or people are all over the place and I can't get my head in the right place and I later realise that it is a full monn.

the moon has always been linked to the rise in water tide. so during the full moon the fluid levels in our brain rises. This is why lunatics come out at this time.
