Technically, there is no sex (intercourse) involved. So why not?

Why, a professional one, of course.

Sure is, in the BSDM community, it is widely accepted. Basic thing is Safe, Sane, and Consensual. Even if intercourse is involved, as long as there is no involvement of minors whatsoever, what you wish to do if perfectly leagl. There is quite a large BDSM subculture that exists in the U.S..... So...have fun

I'm not into that kind of sickness, so I'm not sure what the legalities are. However, a dominatrix is just a fancy term for a female saddist, one who inflicts bodily harm and/or humiliation, and gets a charge out of it. Her victims are masochists, those who get sexual pleasure out of being hurt or humiliated. If there isn't a law, there probably should be. Those things in my estimation, are perversions. (Okay, so I'm an old prude, but you asked!)

I'll ask my wife. Next time she gives me permission to speak, that is. No sex? Does that mean we have to give it up?
