I like Robert Johnson's book about the shadow. He's a great jungian author. I think it's called "a little book about the shadow" or something close to that.

Hi Zag
I am a qualified counselor specializing in (but not limited to) addictions and depression. The most enlightening, deep and thought provoking literature is by Debbie Ford. See the below links to find out more. I hope this is of some help to you, and if I can help in other ways... I have a number of "tips" and other resources that I am sure would help you, so if you are serious about exploring the child within you then respond to this and maybe we can chat via email. I feel that I should mention that this journey can be very emotional and difficult, so I would suggest that if you do embark on this journey, please, have someone that you can talk to, openly and honestly, that you know will hold no judgement over you, and above all, that you trust. All the best.

"Owning Your Own Shadow" - "understanding the dark side of the psyche"
an easy read of clear writing of approximately 100 pages by Robert A. Johnson, an acclaimed Jungian analyst. He asserts that until we have undertaken the task of accepting and honoring the shadow within us, we cannot be balanced or whole, for what is hidden never goes away, but merely turns up in unexpected places.

Well to begin with meditate. Also it is said that what we do not like in another is merely a reflection of our dark side, so pay attention to what angers you in others.
