When i play the sims 2, the only thing that bothers me is those stupid flashing, red walls! If you can't get rid of them, what is the point of buying wallpaper? i know that someone out there has to know about the walls in THE SIMS 2!!!

I am having the same problem only it started once I installed the Sims 2 seasons or Family Fun stuff. It's really annoying and I have no idea how to correct the problem!

It is a compatability issue with your graphics card. If the game supports your card try updating the drivers. There is a thread about this problem on Modthesims2. Here is a link to that thread:

On the lower panel you will see a square where you can put the walls up none of the time, have it set to go up when you step away from the wall or have it set to be up all the time. I have not had the game on in a while but it is on the left and above the direction button if I remember right. Good luck!

Your device isn't thoroughly properly matched with the interest. perhaps no longer adequate RAM or a low video card brought about it? verify the standards and look at your laptop to confirm what you certainly have.

Hmmmm, I've never had that happen. Is your wallpaper custom content? If so delete it, if not...try stripping the wallpaper and put it back. Or exit out of your game and return and see if that helps. If it doesn't search your question on thesims.com forum, I promise someone can help you there.
