I am very dark skinned and people are alwayz calling me ugly. Is there anyone out there that doesnt think dark skin people are ugly. If I find only one person that thinks dark people are not ugly then I will be happier. The rest of you guyz can call me ugly and wouldnt care because I would know that there is one person out there that dosent think Im ugly.
Ps: is it possible for a dark girl to get a boyfriend. Most guyz just say i would being hot if I wasnt so dark skin. Im not like jet black maybe a bunch of shads lighter then that.

People can be so immature and ignorant, don't let people define you because of the color of your skin, you were made that shade because it is beautiful to GOD and he likes variety, your skin color is probably beautiful. You do not need people to tell you that your skin is beautiful and that it doesn't matter what shade you are because it is something that you need to believe deep down within, their are people in this world who are of all colors which is a beautiful thing, Trust, everyone gets teased for something no one is perfect!! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and who ever is teasing you probably has 110 things wrong with them. Your Family, Friends, and Future boyfriend should like/love you for YOU!! and your beautiful personality, looks come and go, but the true beauty is within, and is everlasting!!
P.S your Probably just as beautiful on the outside as the inside!! We are our own worst critics and what you see is not necessarily what someone else sees, they may think that you are the most beautiful person they have ever seen!!

I think that some people still have a mentality back from slavery. The lighter-skinned slaves with the "good hair" (i hate that term) were the house slaves and the darker ones stayed out in the fields. The house slaves wore better clothes (usually passed down from the mistress) and shoes and were better upkept -- Slave-owners didn't want raggidy looking slaves around when they had guests. I also think in an effort to keep blacks from conjoining and uprising they had to turn them against themselves. Tactics like telling a light-skinned slave that she was better and the dark-skinned one that she was less and that she was ugly turned them against each other. Pretty soon light was bousgie and dark was just ugly. Its a mentality that is so engrained in us that its hard to get rid of. And with light-skinned actors always portrayed on T.V., its harder to get that out of our heads. But black is beautiful and although I'm not really that dark myself, I love dark. To me I think dark women and men are both beautiful. Equal if not more that other complexions. Beautiful dark -skinned black people are everywhere -- Morris Chestnut, Reggie Bush, Gabrielle Union, Kelly from Destiny's Child and You just to name a few! Black is Beautiful sister. God Bless.

I used to hear this all the time when I was younger. I was the "light skinned" girl. I never believed that. There is beauty in dark, light, olive, tan, brown and fair skin. It is very possible for a dark skinned girl to have a boyfriend. The dark skinned girl get married sooner, at least where I come from. And I have been with my boyfriend for five years! :)

I'm generally attracted to darker skinned Black men, although I've dated men of varying ethnicities and skin tones. Maybe because my father and step-father were of this skin tone. My mother liked darker Black men, and my grandfather (her father), loved darked Black women. Maybe it was environmental, what I grew up with. There was negativity associated with it. That's why I'm glad to proclaim, "SAY IT LOUD! I'M BLACK AND I'M PROUD!" I am a peanut butter tone, it doesn't really matter in the end.

I have no clue!! I love dark chocolate men. They look so good. And there are alot of pretty dark girls in this world. So im not all that dark brownish- dark. And the next time they call you black you tell them what I tell them. THE BLACKER THE BERRY, THE SWEETER THE JUICE!!!

Nope dark skinned people are pretty and it's possible for all people to have a boyfriend. I actually think Dark skinned people have the most prettiest shade of skin.(I'm light-skinned)

I love really dark skin,but then again i love all kinds. I dont care what somone looks like when i look at people really, I would rather marry a nice ugly guy than a totally hot as.s hole.
If they cant get past what you look like, tell them to grow up and stop being asses..

I dont think its ugly. I am a girl but Ive been attracted to many really dark guys, and I think the girls are just as attractive

Dark chocolate isnt ugly. As a matter of fact, my friend is chocolate and all the boys are ALWAYS chasing her.
