I would return it if at all possible, like if it was in a wallet.

If it was just a twenty laying on the street, it would not be worth returning.

If it was a block of twenties laying on the street, it is probably illegal money so I would not return it.

I'll return the money because I heard some stories where someone returned money and got a reward. But even if you didn't its nice for people to think of you as a honest person. Even if I was poor a lot of good things happen to you when you do good deeds.

Return it, without a second thought. What if the person that lost it is going through something worse than I am? Returning could make a lot more difference in the world than if I just kept it.

It all depends on where I found it,and how much it was. If i found it in a store I might take in to the courtesy desk. if I found it in the street and there were nothing with it to identify the owner then I would keep it.

If there was some kind of identification on it I would return it, no matter what my situation was, if the money is not mine and there was a name on it I would make sure the person would get it back. =)

if it was all cash and I mean alot
I would totally become the private investigater that I always dreamed of being since I was small.
And I would use the money in aiding me to search for the poor soul who lost it. No stone would be left unturned until i found out who and where they are.
I think I would start my search in Jamaica

It would depend on if there was a chance to find the owner. If it were just lying in the street I would keep it.

It would depend on whether I can find the person that lost it or not....if there's no trace then just about anybody can claim it's their money....specially if it's a big amount.

If it was something that fell out of the back of an armored truck I would keep it... because they are insured for that kinda thing and banks suck... but if it was some poor sap that lost his life savings I would return it...

If I know who the money belongs to yes, because that would be stilling, otherwise no. I can use the money properly.
I have to qualify it, if it is not a very large amount.
