Cleaning Your MacBook Pro
Follow these general rules when cleaning the outside of your computer and its
components:
Shut down your MacBook Pro, unplug the power adapter, and remove the battery.
Use a damp, soft, lint-free cloth to clean the computer’s exterior. Avoid getting
moisture in any openings. Do not spray liquid directly on the computer.
Don’t use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives.

Get this product called "Spray Nine". You can find it at many boating supply stores. Its a safe, fantastic cleaner, and you will be amazed how well it cleans plastic. I buy it by the gallon.
Use a terry-cloth towel moistened with it. Do not get the Mackbook wet.

for my exhibit screen i in basic terms use a microfiber fabric and for my key board (time ingesting sure) i exploit a q-tip to get all the airborne dirt and dust out... those air cans that blow the airborne dirt and dust away are super too! NOOOO DONT USE PLEDGE!!! you will spoil your exhibit screen! ;) good success!
