How do i speed up my torrent download?

Question

I am on a 512kb/s download and 256kb/s upload connections and when downloading torrent it never goes over 60kb/s. I hear people are getting over 100kb/s. Can someone help me out please. Using µtorrent. Running on Windows 98SE.

make sure your half-open is on about 50 or 75 and make sure you get a files with more seeds than leaches. Make sure you share if not most people won't share there files. Hope this helps.

Hi,
Try using Bitcomet instead but the most I get is about 115Kbs, and how do you still use Windows 98 ???
