My friend and I are using WinXP OS and we both have internet connections. We both know each other's IP's. Now, can we connect and access each other's Computers. We both are miles far away from each other. I dont have Wireless Network service like DHCP or anything. Infact I dont know wat exactly it is.

What kind of connection do you want:

You want a conversation with the other counterpart? You both can download Yahoo Messenger for that.

You want to share data? You can share a folder on Internet, start an ftp server on one of the computers, or use a file storer web.

You want to see the other screen?? You have to use remote terminal or install vnc on one of the computers.

Depending of what you want, I have to give you more information, and I need that you give more details of the connection. Please re-answer to this message with more details.

Go to www.crossloop.com and you both must download and install their free software.

Then, one of you would start CrossLoop as "host" and the other can "join" and view or control the host's screen.
