A neighbour of mine who is disabled is having trouble with her next door neighbour who parks outside her house to stop her from parking there. she cant park outside theire house because they have a H shape road marking on the road. I was just wondering is it illeagel to park there if her next door neighbour isnt disabled?

i thought the H sign meant only helicoptors can park at that spot

That line is in the highway code and it's supposed to prevent people parking over driveway entrances. I don't think they can be legally enforced though. Try asking the council to paint a disabled parking space outside the house. This will be enforceable.

From what you say this ladies neighbour doesn't park in front of his/her own house as there is a restriction stopping him/her from parking there?
He/She parks in the next available space which is next door?

If this is the case then I really fail to see what your neighbour wants or expects. They have as much right to park as close as practical to their house as anyone else.

in the united kingdom, in case you have a Disabled parking badge, you could park on lines offering you're actually not inflicting an obstruction. you will no longer be able to apply a disabled badge to park in the city of Westminster or the city of London. you could park on roads without lines, back offering you're actually not parked in a unfavourable place nor inflicting an obstruction nor combating somebody's get admission to to assets
