The characters are straight from the comic books. The plots are juvenile and the acting is bad. It serves as an outlet for our aggressive side. Its like watching a comic book unfold on TV. Just lazy mindless fun.

A sport normally a rural based one.. is a scientific way of fighting like the modern Karate..Kung Fu.. and so on. It keeps the body flexible, healthy and gives an allround exercise and massaging simultaneously resulting in shapy and powerful muscular body.
Needs no costly items like golf and cricket.... Kabaddi is just another sport different like wrestling... Must be knowing the gaint bodies of SUMO wresltles ... it is mainly teaches the technique of gripping ... lifting ... tilting .. and making the opponent's back to touch the ground. Requires quite a big volume of food, Milk, Egg. etc. to keep fit with increased Energy.

Hmmm...watching big, sweaty, near-naked men performing amazing feats of muscle and ability, throwing each other around and having almost constant physical contact...

It's not so inhuman, really. Think of sex. It's slightly similar.
Or, think why people go to war, love fights, such. We're nice and violent.

I am from Ontario, Cananda... Years ago when I was small back in probably 1985-1988 I used to watch it with my mother...back when the big shots were around that you used to hear about all the time, Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, Macho Man Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, etc.... and it was all entertaining... Not saying they didn't get hurt, they do.... But then I got out of it...
Then after hooking up with my husband I got back into it, partly out of curiosity to see how much it had changed and if there was anybody I still knew the name of (as I have friends who love it and always mention names to me).... My husband was wicked crazy into that sh*t and then got out of it a little bit... by wicked crazy I mean he started a fantasy wrestling site and also did interviews with the up and coming people... your local wrestling guys before they made it to the big time (wwe formerly wwf, ecw, wcw, tna impact, cpzw, etc...I hope I have that last one right)....

IT's still entertaining but at times I wonder how they can get away with stuff... like this war between DX and RKO on WWE.... they get into a period where violence and blood sells (so my husband tells me) and I'm not a fan of that crap... I like the way it used to be, where there was talent...and no offence to anybody in todays wrestling, there is still talent, but now they take things to the violent end where anything goes, including smashing some guys head between 2 chairs or beating him with barbed wire... I'm not into that... I like the entertainment value of it, seeing people show off various moves that most people wouldn't see, and the outfits that some of them wear (like MNM, Ashley, and back in the day Macho Man)... I like the sport, but not the blood/violence they bring into it today.

From a guys point of view, I guess aside from the blood and violence, they like the girls.... Where else can go on tv and see girls who all have fake boobs and flaunt them and it be guaranteed every week outside of old Baywatch reruns...??

In a way, wrestling is like Barney... you can like parts of it but not necessarily all of it. But that's just my opinion.

Have a good weekend =)

It never appealed to me. Horrible acting and simply ridiculous. I would say he will grow out of it, However there is a huge amount of people who are way too old to enjoy it, that sadly still do.

Its ego that lead them to prove stronger than others if they genuinely wrestle. Otherwise it is just a business show with providing entertainment.
