Heather (below) Bravo! At only 14 you articulate yourself masterfully. Although I disagree with some of your statement, I am happy to hear you make it.

By the way, my service to this country as a decorated Air Force vet and more earns my right to criticize those seeking to destroy that which I served to protect. Not to mention the tens of thousands of dollars that I pay in taxes.

Wisdom is very important. Intellect can be measured wisdom cannot. Bush is not lacking either, and i don't think it's fair for you to be saying that. Yes, he's our president, but wisdom and intellect are hard to judge when everyone has such a different opinion, instead of saying it as "which is Bush sorely lacking?" you should be more constructive, and ask what can we do to help Bush out, I am getting pretty tired of everyone complaining about our government and president, yet, no on tries to change it. The select few that actually are contributing to America, Thank You, but you are the stereotypical lazy American that is doing nothing productive to acutally fix our nation, instead your online asking why Bush is lacking intellect and wisdom, why don't you either grow balls or brains and actually do something!
By the way i am 14 and am smarter than you, and am acting as a good american citizen to improve our country, instead of complaining

Your "question" is based on false premises and, thus, cannot be answered as asked.

You are presuming that either intellect or wisdom must be more important than the other. Obviously, without adequate intellect there can be no wisdom. And, without wisdom, intellect is a useless commodity.

Secondly, you are presuming that President Bush lacks one or the other.

But, it was a good effort. Keep at it. Before you know it, you will be bashing Bush with the best of them.

Both are important....How about morals? That, too, should be a requirement....As far as Bush is concerned, I don't think he is lacking in either... Articulation is not a requirement for intelligence, that is why our leader has speech-writers...I think it is a good example great leadership when he goes on live tv and doesn't act like someone he is not. He shows that he is only human.

I think Bush is blessed with both. He's been a great leader, and face it, you don't get to be President of The United States by being stupid. The Man graduated from two ivy league schools, CEO of two successful oil businesses, was a successful pilot in the Air Guard, owned a baseball team, Gov. of Texas more than one term, and went on to hold the highest office in The United States of America. I'd say that pretty much answers your question.

Wisdom is the most important, intellect only, is "wiz-dumb". Wisdom knows how to find the information it needs to get the job done. Intellect is merely that information.

WHAT BUSH IS SORELY LACKING IS VISION.

Bush has WIZ-DUMB

Intellect is knowing it and wisdom is using it. They are in tandem. And Bush is sorely lacking in a good PR person, but that's about it.

Wisdom. W had a pretty thin resume of life experiences that would prepare him for the presidency. Most disturbing is that he displayed virtually no intellectual curiousity which is a must to gain wisdom.

Wisdom is more important for a person, specially, for responsible person and more specially for a leader. You can attribute those only for the conscious, matured and reasonable human being. I don't think that these words are attributable for Bush.

Bush is lacking Wisdom with Wisdom being the most important. You use your intellect to gain Wisdom and his brain cells are pickled.
