Since Monday night (its now Saturday) I have not slept. Monday night, I went to bed at 6:30, woke up 7:30ish (really, I had didnt even completely fallasleep), Tuesday i went to bed, but my alarm clock went off, so I just got up & got dressed to go to school, Wednesday, I actually slept. i went to bed at 6:15 & woke up at 7:40, so I probably slept for an hr, but I felt SO much better. . Thursday night, very very bad; I didnt even get to my bed!! I stayed up the whole night.

The reason is I have been studying and I procrastinate a lot.
Please, I know I have a problem w/ managing my time, & sleep deprivation will seriously effect my health, but another issue has come up.

(Continued in addition details because I can't fit it.)

Last night, (Friday), I don't remember how, but I fell asleep, and I woke up the next day at 11:30 am. 100% of the time, I go back to sleep, but I was not tired at all (which is so rare) When I woke up, I got this bad vibe, like something HORRIBLE was going to happen.. but usually when I get the bad vibe, nothing happens. But, an hour and a half later, I still have this bad feeling.

Does anyone know, or can anyone shed some light on this issue? thank you so much, I appreciate it.

Sounds like it might be a sort of panic attack. At least that's what I've called it when it happened to me. Maybe you could look up panic disorders? The link to such in Wikipedia is below. Anyways, I would on occasion just have a feeling something bad was going to happen that had no basis in reality. Sometimes it would get so bad that my breathing would be labored or my chest would hurt. I also used to be an insomniac. My sleepless nights only come once every few nights now, and my panics happen even less. There are medications, but they never helped me. I just let nature run its course and luckily it worked out.
Good luck to you... get some sleep as that might help.

Hmm...I don't know about that bad vibe. Perhaps only time can tell? So wait and see. But you certainly need to work on regularizing your sleep pattern. Sometimes, the brain can play tricks on u when u are not getting enough shut-eye. Even otherwise, not getting enough sleep robs u of positive energy. The body and mind can't function optimally without some rest.

Today, no matter what, go to bed at a decent hour. No coffee tea or intense exercise, or loud tv or music, or even exciting phone conversations, or any intense activity before bedtime. Take a relaxing bath with lavendar salts, read something calming, have a cup of hot milk. Just basically "prepare" for bed. In a matter of days, if u follow a regular routine, ur body will get used to it and u will start feeling sleepy at that exact time.

Catch up with ur reading during "waking hours". U will study better this way, than when u study depriving ur body of sleep.

When one becomes sleep deprived over a lengthy amount of time, delusions may set in temporarily.

The mind is tired like the rest of your body. It is not replenishing itself by way of REM sleep.

Don't worry. Just know that you must have sleep to function properly.

~I think you're feeling paranoid because you weren't awake for a night. Please get more sleep.~
