I like GW .. he's not been perfect but at least he's been committed to his beliefs without vasilating back and forth. I admire that, especially in the face of public opinion and media scrutiny.

I like George Bush (personally, he's a really nice guy) and I have ALWAYS despised Kerry. I've encountered him MANY times in DC and he is probably the biggest prig I've ever met in my life. He thinks that he doesn't have to be polite to people that he just "comes into contact with" but he forgets that in Washington you can't be sure that the intern you treated like dirt, or the volunteer usher at the Kennedy Center that you gave a hard time, or even the barrista making you coffee aren't related to someone that might matter to you. Kerry is snubbed by his own party on Capitol hill. He's probably the least liked and least likeable government official.
Gore was more likeable, but Tipper would be my big winner. She's an absolute doll. I think she'd be happier if Al got out of politics.

I am glad President George Bush won because his "No Child Left Behind" program will make sure children can spell. It seems to be a problem, judging from some of the questions posted here.
I also think Kerry hates our military and would undermine them.

I know I'm in a minority, but I really do like Bush. I think he's definitely made some mistakes in his presidency, but so does everybody. And I think he's a really outstanding person, and I value that very highly in a president, as it's not a very common thing. I think he cares a lot about people.
