WalMart & Target both have terrific stuff, at terrific prices. Discount stores carry in style fashions, just without the designer labels or prices. I have a LOT of clothes in my closet that I've gotten over the years. It's "classic" stuff that I can probably wear forever. I shop at Newport News and Metro Style online and get a lot of nice stuff that way. Mall prices are just way too outrageous for me. All my favorite jeans came from Newport News, are called The Best Fitting Jeans on Earth, and they only cost $19 a pair. I have some really dressy outfits I got from them that cost less than $50. People are always telling me they like what I have on, so I guess I don't have to spend big bucks to look good.

forever 21
wet seal
charlotte russe
Nordstrom

they have very nice, stylish clothes for a great price. They're really good stores to go to if you want fashion on a budget. If you're going to nordstrom, look for their sale racks. You can usually find great deals there. They're also really popular stores located in the mall, so they'll be no trouble to find. Also look online for some stores. Sometimes, brands like abercrombie and ae and hollister have really nice sales, just look around the clearance racks at thier stores or check out the clearance sections on their websites. I got a top from abercrombie for $10 once.

Target
Marshall's
kohl's
Ross's

Especially target, these stores give you cute clothes at nearly no price at all. Mall fashion without the exorbitant prices. Also, name brand stores like ae and hollister and bloomingdale's send their clothes over to marshall's and ross's.

Plato's closet

I really recommend this store. It offers slightly worn high end clothes. When I mean slightly worn, I mean that it might as well be new. The clothes are in perect condition, and they look like they were just pulled off a rack at sak's or barney's. They offer designers like seven for all mankind, true religion and dolce and gabana. I got jeans there from true religion for only $30! In regular stores, they cost $200+. However, you may have to travel a bit to find a store, but it's worth it. Go to their website for store locations.

If you're feeling adventurous, or just want to get a great bargain, look around your town for flea markets or thrift shops. Maybe you could even make your own clothes.

h&m has very trendy clothes for about $20 each

you can also look at the sales racks of your favorite stores and department stores

thrift stores, goodwill, etc

but honestly, the style will probably change quickly, so i recommend splurging on quality pieces that withstand fads instead of wasting money on poorly made pieces that will be unwearable in two years and would be dreadfully out of date.

Most 'stylish' clothes aren't that cheap. You could get 2 shirts and a pair of jeans from Aeropostale for 30. Maybe 1 shirt and a necklace from Abercrombie for 30 too. Mmm, about 1 pair of shoes from American eagle for around 40. And a hoodie from Hollister for 70. My best bet would be Aeropostale.

Do you have any friends that you can trade/swap clothes with?
Have a swap party and take what you want to swap.
Consignment shop might help.
Try to accessorize, scarves, pins,bracelets,
mix and match what u have, don't be like me and not try new things, good luck...
