i am trying to grow MOUTH bacteria in a petri dish on agar gel which i made using agar. I wanted to know what is the best tempreature/ environment for the MOUTH bacteria to grow in the petri dish???

Fridge which is cold?
Freezer which is freezing?
Warm???
or
Something else!

need help if any links that say will help too thank you need help fast! need to finish science fair!

Your talking about normal flora and not a separate bacteria.This could be a hard one to answer as one bacteria might take over the others.It is possible to isolate them but it would require trail and error and testing techniques only available in a micro lab.In general you would need almost a 100% humidity a temperature of ninety eight give or take, agar or sugar gel for feeding the colonies you wish to grow and limited UV rays also the variance of the pH would be a factor,but you could try a litmus strip.

trypticase soy agar with 5% sheep blood, incubated at 37C

if you're using home-made agar, just incubate it in an incubator at 37C

if you don't have an incubator, just try room temperature. at least the coliforms, staph, and molds will still grow.

there are all kinds of specialized media and specialized incubators for anaerobes, facultative anaerobes, aerobes, etc.
also specialized media for gram positive vs. gram negative organisms.

Well i would have to say a mild saline solution and an environment at 96 degress same as our bodies.

put it in an incubator for a day or two.
