This month I haven't had an actual menstural flow like I normally do. I have spotted for three or four days off and on, been really tired, and extremely moody. I know these are all PMS symptoms as well as possible pregnancy symptoms. I am going to go to my dr on Mon. and see what she can find out for me, but should I consider those lightly spotting days as my actual period, could I possibly be pregnant or what? What's your opinion on this? Thanks!!

Those light spotting days could be implantation bleeding, where your fertilized egg attaches itself to the wall of your uterus. I've had that with both of my pregnancies. Why don't you buy a home pregnancy test and see what it is? Otherwise, it's sure going to be a long weekend for you. Good luck honey.

Spotting is NOT a period. SPotting can be ovulatory spotting, implantation spotting, or anovulatory bleeding. It can also be a symptom of a gyn problem.

If you have been tired and moody, it seems likely you could be pregnant. PMS and ovulation can sometimes cause those symptoms too. Try a home pregnancy test. That's probably the easiest way to find out right away.

If you have been ill or had a cold, it can actually make these changes to your period. Eating disorders can also do this to your periods.
Some women do spot in the beginning of pregnancy, but usually being tired and fatigued is not an early symptom of pregnancy.

It could be implantation bleeding....sometimes it does last for a few days....and with your other symptoms it sounds like you could be pregnant....Good Luck!!!
