This is a normal human response to the self-importance and contrived solemnity of the occassion.

And it's also a normal response to the oppressive gloom of it all, the utter unspontaneousness of it, it's miserableness and utter boringness.

When I attended church, I didn't burst into giggles, I just fantasized about what lingerie the few attractive women in the congregation were wearing.

I'm in my 40's and go to church every sunday. Lots of things make me laugh, little kids, lousy voices, and even the minister. It is not a bad thing to laugh. Sarai laughed. Just try not to make it obivious you are laughing at someone, someone else could be laughing at you.

That must mean you think God is not serious?
You may end up with the devil, if you dont change your ways.

my cousin left me a message Christmas morning(around 1am) and she went to church with her two brothers. One was drunk. So they were in there and they started cracking up. She asked but they wouldn't tell. When they left, she asked again and her oldest brother, the drunk one, goes "I feel asleep"
