ok, I'm half Indian, so I have a dark complextion.....but I don't know what color of dress I should wear to my 8th grade graduation......please help. Oh, and we are having a dance after it so I want to get a dress that I will be able to dance in and that says 'I want to Par-Tay!!!!!' I was thinking about going with a dress is short in front, and longer in the back....do you think that would be a good idea?????

i think that you should go with any bright or bold colors like red or orange. orange i think would look the best because your skin complextion is perfect for that color. i wish you the cest of louck at graduation. and i think that getting a dress that says i want to par-tay is the best dress to wear! :]

I think a dark pink Jessica McClintock style dress would look great on you! The pink would go really well with your skin tone and the cocktail style looks sophisticated and fun at the same time. You don't need to wear something too long, because longer is usually more formal, like for prom. You want to look dressed up and gorgeous, but don't overdo it.

I think the most beautiful color in the world is like a teal/green color, and it looks great on darker skin! Also white or coral. They're all good. And that style of dress sounds cute. Have fun!

Wow. 8th grade promenade? i'm in 8th grade and we don't even get a commencement. ok properly, in case you have dark hair and dark eyes, do no longer bypass with something dark. which will look.... properly no longer cool. So perhaps a lighter dress, lavender perhaps? or crimson, in case you desire. Or be like Bam! and do a delicate yellow. in case you're blonde or something then attempt perhaps a darker dress. like a deep crimson. or you may desire to nevertheless bypass with gentle colorings.

For dark complexion the best colors to wear are yellow or warm tones. You don't want to wear dark or deep colors like red or blck because they take away from the beauty of your skin tone. I'd go with a pale yellow. I think that would be beautiful. I wore a yellow dress for mine. :]

I'm in the same situation! I'm Indian too, and my complexion ids dark. I would suggest a light blue, light pink, a coral, black,m or whit dress to go with your skin tone and your hair color.

Dress in something you feel is comfortable,I would wear light colored dresses, but make sure to have your dress not too long (dragging on the ground) anyway, wear whatever you would like..

Dark skin looks great in bright colors. Red would be nice or purple or yellow.You will look good in things light skinned people don't. Have fun.
