Chuck Green column in Chieftain misleadingly attacked Gore's energy usage
Summary: In a column that appeared in The Pueblo Chieftain on February 28, Chuck Green misleadingly called former Vice President Al Gore an "energy hog" and "energy hypocrite," based on a think tank's analysis of Gore's power bills. Green ignored media reports about Gore's "carbon-neutral lifestyle" and failed to mention that the think tank is a conservative, "free market" group"

The only problem I see with your question involves the "misleading" comment.

If you do your research, you will find that Gore's "carbon-neutral lifestyle" is a recent development. According to his own staff, he and Tipper only began purchasing their "green energy credits" at $4.00/unit/month last November. Additionally, his staff indicated that he is currently installing solar panels on his home.

I thought Al had been eco-friendly for over three decades. Isn't that what they said at the Oscars? What has he been doing all these years?

If it's such an emergency why are there carbon credits?

It would seem like Gore should be living in a 1500 square foot house like me if he really believed this stuff.

I compost, I recycle, and I use the stupid compact flourescent bulbs. But just because I don't like to pay for electricity any more than I have to, not because I believe some silly global warming conspiracy, that was a global cooling conspiracy 30 years ago.

for a similar reason various the persons who prefer "Cap and commerce" and a "Carbon Futures marketplace" additionally help "loose commerce". as though transport products international huge with plane and load ships would not burn various gasoline, applicable? Al Gore and the different wealthy elites are all approximately funds. they're going to look you in the attention, misinform you, and experience good approximately it.

Gore's carbon neutral lifestyle comes from the fact that he pays some company to "neutralize" his footprint by investing in renewable energy and planting trees.

Too bad most of those companies are shams....

Have you honestly been fooled into thinking that because somebody pays for 'credits' then that somehow releases them from being environmentally responsible ?
Especially if that person is the self-ordained Global Warming guru !!

EDIT* - You know what ? Be a liberal all you want, but try to be a 'smart liberal' and know when to hold em and know when to fold em . Gore is a HYPOCRITE. . . . plain and simple !! And trying to defend the actions of a hypocrite only puts you in the same boat !!

No, they analyzed a "Carbon Footprint" of Gore and this concluded that he is a hypocritical bastard. Typical of a Liberal.

Ha! A column written by a left leaning site. "Help stop Conservative Misinformation". I'm sure we can find sites that say "Stop Liberal Misinformation" too.
