I was on IE and a security thing popped up and told me that someone from a remote location was trying to get on IE. i told it to never allow this. After that, i was blocked from IE and i cannot get back on it. im still connected through firefox, but i like ie better.

Without having seen what exactly happened, it sounds like you may have accidentally configured your firewall not to allow Internet Explorer to do anything.
If you knew the security holes in IE, you would probably give it up and stick with Firefox.
Hopefully you upgraded to IE 7.0 If not, doing so may solve your problem and close up some of those backdoors that IE 6 has

Sounds like your IE just got hacked by an adware or spyware. Run a scan of your machine and see what it finds. Use Panda Active scan on their site Pandasoftware.com Once you find what it is, you can search Google to see how to get rid of it. Hope this helps.

If your running Windows XP or Vista, you can restore your PC back to an earlier date. This may help resolve your issue.
