Since this is a open-ended answer, there are many answers for it. Most of my guys friends think that Japanese girls mean good sex (blame the Japanese sex industry). My elder’s homies think Japanese are respectful, tradition and great.

In my point of view, I think Japanese girls, white girls, hispanic girls... any other races are hot and hot - to me - doesn't mean good sex. I dated many girls (white, philipino, vietnamese...) before ended up with this Japanese girl. Personally, I don't think culture affects love too much. Yes, I'm Vietnamese American and that we have a lot of culture facts in common but speaking of my whitie best friend, he has a Japanese girlfriend himself and they started dating from love so no prob.

Anyway,

Japanese girls: most of Japanese girls smoke - a no no. Their English is not good but their accent is cute. Their fashion is kindda ... different. Most of them are ambitious for their goal and they would do ANYTHING for it( such as: education, career...). They take really fantastic care of their boyfriend - from cooking meals to every little things that guys always forget to do... They often say sorry. They look weak but they all have strong will. ( man, this scared me some times). They don't live for themselves but for their families - their parents and their own families. And yes, girls are all cute. It's like a big set - labeled "girls"- with Japanese girls as a sub set in it. The big set = cute.

Japanese guys: they are shy. They are polite. Some of them smoke - well, guys are ok with that. They are ambitious. They wear ... different fashion from us. They grow chin beard. They are skinny. I mean they may look somewhat weird to most of us but they are nice. Man, I don't know if this is true but most of my friends (girls) think that they are cool and hot. (wtf -- yeahh that was what I thought when I heard that) Oh, and they are not really smart (in Math and Science) compare to other East Asian guys. They are really HELPFUL. When you ask them to help you, they will do it with all their will. They helped people soo hard. This surprised me many times. They cry when they tried so hard to reach their goal but they failed. They cry when someone in their families dies. (We all do, but we don't show) I respect them though, they have many things which we should learn ( their will, their manners...)

--OK, I think guys are the same. But we hide our feelings way better then they do.

Japanese people: well, most Japanese people we see here are young International Student; a few of them are Nisei or Sansei... (second and third generation...). So they somehow represent Japanese in Japan, not Japanese American. The cultures are so much different, i realized this when i lived in Japan. Japanese people are so so so polite, but, yes, we don't know what they really think unless we are their spouse or best friends. I agree that Japanese don’t say ‘no’ directly, but if you understand East Asian culture enough, this is a normal social culture fact. They feel bad when they (think they may) hurt people’s feelings. But if they don’t agree with you still, they will find a proper time to tell you about it if you are really meaningful to them.

That was my point of view.

PS: there is no such thing as Japanese girls like white men more than men from other races. What a girl really needs is a man with a heartful heart, not his color.

I sitll haven't forgiven them for Pearl Harbor or what they did during the war.
Although I like the Japanese people I've met. Even dated a J-girl, she was wonderful.
The Japs are friendly and nice, proof people can change over time.

i spent six years in Japan and i dated a lot of Japanese girls but I ended up marrying a Filipino for many reason
I could trust the Filipino women to tell me the truth and not backstab me..in Japan the women/men are told not to say no even if they mean no...its just part of their upbringing.
The Japanese women won't tell you they are mad at you at the time but they will waith six months and do something to get back
The Filipina women will not wait six months but tell you off right now and get it over with.
I don't trust the Japanese women or men..its just something I learned from life's experience..
Also Japanese women overall are harder to communicate with as they have a harder time learning the English language and they are totaly confused in our use of slangs or humor..they are clueless..but they are good in sex matters..maybe superior
