our drain had a leak and sewer drainage leaked through the backyard saturating the soil. it is now fixed but the soil is contaminated. what should i do with the soil? can it be treated or should it be disposed of? where can i dispose of it in san francisco?

plant some flowers, you'll have the best blooms going! dont worry about it, the worms and nature will break it down naturally and rain water will help, if it was mine i wouldnt worry a bit

Your soil will be fine unless you had some chemical spill Normal soap and household waste even from a toilet will not harm the soil in fact you probably will see better grass there

No different really than a leach field for those who have a septic system. Like others said, as long as there are no harmful chemicals that were mixed in you should be ok.

Leave it alone it won't hurt anything. Microbes and bacteria will eat it.
