It will be quite convenient to travel by coach to KL from Singapore. It is cheap, about S$25 one way and takes only about 4 hours road trip. Take a plane cost a lot more and takes you about 1 hour flight time plus about 2 hours in both airports. If you drive, it will take about 3 hours anyway, so the coach does not take any much longer. Plus you just sit back and relax for the drive ahead.

Try the Transnational bus company at Crawford St. Bus departs hourly into the heart of KL.

Beside coach and air, you can take a train too. But train take way longer hours than coach.

Of course, you can also drive there. But do check with the local rental car company of any restriction. Driving take about 4 - 5 hours, depending on traffic (especially on the causeway - a bridge link between Singapore and Malaysia).

You can take the following transport:

1) Plane - direct from Singapore Changi Airport to Malaysia KLIA Airport (two airlines - Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines)
2) Coach - (1) take a coach from Golden Mile Complex in Singapore, there are at least a dozen different coach companies there. (2) take the "Nice" coach at Singapore Copthorne Orchid Hotel, which arrive at the KTM station in KL
3) Coach+Plane - to compliment one of the previous answers, you may choose to take a coach over to the southern state of Malaysia, Johor; and then take the budget airline AirAsia to fly from Senai, Johor to KLIA airport.

My advice is to just take the coach as it is the cheapest, and the time to reach KL from Singapore is only about 5 hours. If you take plane it still take about 4 hours to reach Kuala Lumpur, including transit time and the 40mins trip from KLIA airport to KL Sentral.

If you take the coach, you should consider "Nice" if you are staying at Mid Valley City. You can take the KTM komuter train to reach Mid Valley City from KTM station.

I would strongly suggest the bus (coach). You can get a comfortable one at low price. I'll take 5 to 6 hours to reach KL. The bus station at KL (Pudu) is terrible (probably the worst in M'sia) so I suggest you just get out of there immeadiately after arrival.

i don't understand what's your pastime or pastime yet the two are very superb place. the fees are extra inexpensive in Kuala lumpur than Singapore as a results of forex cost, yet Singapore is extra secure than Kuala Lumpur. you could shuttle to Singapore with the help of bus , yet be very careful which comprise your bags, I even have lost my bags at bus station. in simple terms be advantageous you purchase the cost ticket from respected keep at Pudu Raya, to no longer purchase from the adult men interior the bus quit. once you're in Kuala Lumpur, you could bypass to Genting Highlands, Sunway Lagoon , KLCC twin Tower etc, as a results of fact it is your first time bypass to, I advise you to bypass to community shuttle brokers for affiliation. that's recommended to spend a minimum of two days at Singapore, bypass to Sentosa Island, evening Safari, Orchard street, etc. Singapore is extra cleanser, safer yet slightly costly. If i'm able to advise, you bypass to Singapore first for 2 days , than got here back to KL to spend something of your holiday, this way, you do no longer could desire to hassle approximately no longer catching your flight.

You can go to KL from Singapore either by coach (will take app. 6 to 7hrs) or by plane. Depending on your budget.

If you don't mind taking the coach. You can try checking out this website for more info. http://www.fivestarsonline.com/
