There are 43,560 ''square'' feet in an acre

27 acres X 43,560 sq. ft = 1,176,120sq ft

Sounds like a fairly manageable farm, Good Luck !

There are always 4,840 square yards or 43,560 square feet in an acre. Because of alternative definitions of a yard or a foot, the exact size of an acre also varies slightly. Related units of length are the acre's length of one furlong (220 yards) and the acre's breadth of one chain (4 rods or 66 feet).

So do the math 220 x 27 is one side(yards) and 66x27 (feet) isthe other side
