i want to do that so that i wont have to cary around all my dvds if i want to look at one. jus like how u can put cds on to the computer. thnx

All you have to do is create a folder on your hard drive and name it say Software Programs.
Then open the folder you created and make another new folder and name it DVD1 or what ever, then Explore the DVD that's on your DVD drive and click select all, copy, then paste it into the folder you created for that DVD...Done...now all the files that were on the dvd are now on your HD.

You can rip them with the right program, like nero. Then mount the image on a fake cd drive, using daemon tools or alcohol120. But you'll have to beat any protection programs there might be. Read on the web.

Get yourself AnyDVD and CloneDVD install these are you are free to copy any DVD.
